Paris based VFX studio Plug Effects recreated a famous Paris landscape in full CG.

In order to recreate this large environment, Plug Effects' artists took photos from both sides of the river. All the buildings including the bridge and the Samaritaine shop have been reconstructed using photogrammetry with Enwaii.

The water has been generated using an in-house ocean toolkit Plug Effects developed during the production of the movie "Les vacances de Ducobu" where they were involved in almost 200 shots.

This shot is an internal test Plug Effects decided to do in order to validate in detail their photogrammetry pipeline prior to start the effects of an incoming production involving even more ambitious reconstructions.
