In this ambitious commercial for T-Mobile, Eight VFX had to provide images of a fully crowded football stadium. Everybody celebrates a goal scored with style until the referee cancels it because it was done by head which is "not included in the player's contract when abroad" ...

The celebration also includes a Shakira performance in the stadium and fireworks above the stadium and the city around it.

In order to create these images, Eight VFX relied on Enwaii to recreate a full CG stadium by photogrammetry and on Golaem Crowd to populate it.

Both the exterior and interior of the stadium were created using Enwaii. Eight VFX artist chose to replace the stadium by a CG one in order to match perfectly the position between the building and the crowd.

The surroundings of the city as well were built with the same technique, the only difference being that the photographs were taken by helicopter. The reconstruction was needed in order to apply properly the light created by the fireworks on all the buildings.
